I have friends who push Santa because they love the idea of kids being able to believe in a little magic...even if it's just a short time.

We do Santa here, but not big time. We try to let Jesus outshine him, and make a bigger deal of of Him.

Hope you and your family has a wonderful Christmas, friend.Amy Sullivanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03571083038560430815noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-244466770609213524.post-2553879552183453592011-12-20T10:06:15.798-06:002011-12-20T10:06:15.798-06:00We've been very elusive about it so far. I've told her Santa is a fun thing that some people do at Christmas and also the real story of St. Nick. I think we are going to leave a present unmarked for her and see if she thinks it came from Santa or not. I don't ever want to lie to her and say Santa is in fact real. But I don't want to squash the magic and flat out tell her Santa is not real. I'm stuck in the middle!Jenna Hoskinsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02411341498576759800noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-244466770609213524.post-37278771002327744142011-12-15T10:59:41.839-06:002011-12-15T10:59:41.839-06:00It is sticky, isn't it?! Right now it's working without question, but when the time comes I like your answer of St. Nicholas!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12698211507956334881noreply@blogger.com
